I ordered 1.73Ghz z60t 512MB 80GB for $1,999.00 on Nov 7th. Today, I just find out their 2.0Ghz 1GB 100GB HDD model is on promotion selling it for $1999.00 til 11/28/05. What should I do!? Should call and cancel the current order? Or will they upgrade my order to 2.0Ghz model? Oh crap.....

They won't do an auto-upgrade for you. Cancel and then reorder. Or reorder, and cancel/return other laptop

Even if your order cannot be canceled for one reason or another, just order this one and return the older one if it ships to you. All you will lose is the shipping back fees, which is well worth the spec upgrade that you are getting.

I would go for it without thinking twice. CPU upgrade is at least $100, HDD is around $50, and Ram is around $50 ... So even if you had to pay for shipping back you will still be gaining upgrades worth well over a $100

    GO FOR IT :D

I reordered. Cancelled the previous order. New est. ship date is 1/2/2006.... another month delay. Err.... Good laptop manufacturer but has very slow shipping.
