Hello folks, I have an X230 that has only the little light by the camera, no keyboard backlighting. Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the keyboard with an aftermarket backlit model, and will the system board have the right power connections, etc?

    Thanks

    Why "aftermarket"?

Get a genuine Lenovo keyboard with backlight for the model in question and call it a day.
