I completed a new install of windows, I downloaded all the device drivers. The problem I'm having is disabling the touch pad. In control panel/mouse, there a check book which enables and disables the device. If I check mark disable, hit ok, the touch pad is still enable.

If I try to remove the Ultra nav device driver, Xp will not allow me too.

Any thoughts what to do next?

If I remember correct you can disable the touchpad in BIOS...
