Been waiting forever to buy a new X200 Tablet and am wondering if they will finally discount these new X200 Tablets after Christmas. Have not seen any discounts on them recently. If they have had a discount it was very small

Yup -- I feel likewise. I'm waiting to pounce on the X200 tablet when a great deal presents itself.

Please holler if you see one!

    :)

Configured properly with the Employee discount it's around $2400+ with warranty and without the employee discount it's

Not much of a discount  Still over $2K when properly configured  What's up with Lenovo not offering any discounts on these new X200 Tablets  Anyone up for a group buy??

Does two constitute a group? :D

Don't lose hope...Unicursal is reporting a discount even on X200 tablets for Boxing Day in Canada...Maybe Lenovo/U.S. will be overcome with the same spirit of seasonal giving...

Hey, stylinexpat -- I don't know if this is enough for you, but it looks like IBM has a new coupon for the X200 Tablet. It's USX4DAYDEC26 -- seems to be about a 12-13 percent saving.

I'm thinkin' of pulling the pin...

USE4DAYDEC26 is the only one that works with the Employee discount :( Only about 5% discount :(

Hmm -- I was able to stack USX4DAYDEC26 with a Federal employee discount -- came to a total of maybe 17-18 percent off.

I suppose that is better than the new Fujitsu Tablets at $4K a piece   I want to add the new Intel X25-E SSD in it so I have to take that cost into consideration as well. I'm in Taipei so the laptop has to be shipped to my California address 1st and then shipped out to Taiwan. Between shipping, a properly configured Tablet and the SSD that I want thing thing is going to cost me over $3K so far

Man--IBM had better come through with a big discount for you! :wideeyed:

Yeah--the SSD will add a big chunk of change for you also...In my case, I require lots of storage, but it doesn't matter if it's mechanical or solid state, so I'll be opting for the 320GB 5,400 RPM HDD configuration.

I sure hope they come through with a workable discount for you, stylinexpat! :)
