    Is your ThinkPad affected by the Lenovo battery recall? Enter your battery barcode(s) at Lenovo's battery recall page and post the result. Please answer YES if you have one or more ThinkPads with a recalled battery. I have a ThinkPad X60s and its battery is not affected by the recall.

    I've got 4 Thinkpads at home, of which only 1 I suspect to be affected by the recall. I say suspect, cos the serial number matches the one in the list of serial numbers posted in the news item from last week, but when i key in the serial in the website linked above, it's a negative.

    Mine does. Both automatic and manual checkup say I have to bring them in for replacement.
    Mine is regular 6-cell Sony-made battery supplied with my T43 (2668-6ZU) bought brand new 4 months ago.

    T60 14" 8 cel Sony, affected. Laptop bought on April. I get new battery in 4-6 weeks according to IBM support.

    I have a T60 6 cell (regular size) that isn't affected. Not sure if it is a Sony or not, didn't check the FRU.

    mine is affected. After 6 months, my battery will be replaced. I wonder, shall I consider myself lucky? :)
