I'm considering purchasing a Lenovo Thinkpad R61 89185MM. I'm primarily interested in the Thinkpads for their build quality and business design.

    These are the specifications:

    IntelĀ® Core 2 Duo T7300 2.00GHz
    1 GB RAM
    120 GB
    15.4"
    1680x1050
    128MB nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M
    Genuine Windows Vista Business

One thing I would like to be able to do is play some games such as World of Warcraft, Counterstrike: Source and Age of Empires 3.

Would all of these games play at the native res (1680x1050) on this Thinkpad? If so, at what quality settings? (Low, Medium, High).

If I can't get at least reasonable gaming performance I think I'll have to go with a Dell or Zepto.

    Thanks, any input is appreciated.

Havn't played any of those games but I play Quake 3 at max settings and I get 99 fps, which is where the FPS counter is limited too. Its more then likely running higher then 99 FPS.

That thread talks about bioshock performance on the 140M. One guy says it sucks(but doesn't have bio shock drivers installed, another guy has the drivers installed and is running bioshock and happy with the results.) I found the bioshock drivers to work the best, even when not playing bioshock.

I do suggest you add another gig of ram though.
