The price difference is about $120. Do you guys think if it's worth it to have the full dock?

What kind of connections do you need. I think for most the Advanced Mini Dock is enough.

I probably just need to connect an external monitor, an external keyboard and mouse, and that's probably about it.

The full dock does have a built in multi card reader.

What about the construction? Is the full dock better constructed than the mini dock?

I don't know the difference in build-quality as I have never laid my hands on Advanced dock. But I do have the mini-dock. I think the only real advantage that Advanced dock has over the mini, is that it has a place to put an additional optical drive or hard drive, IMHO. For the difference in price, I can always buy a USB port multi-card reader for less than $40.

Mini-dock appears to be well constructed, and it fits well with my R60. I've had no complaint so far about how it functions. In fact, I am very happy with it.
