    Hi,

    I have a T500.

Can someone tell me if my DVD-RW drive and/or my Serial ATA HDD will work in the ultrabay in the Advanced Dock???

    Thank you

the dvd-rw from your t500 should fit in the advanced dock
your sata hdd will need a cage for it to fit like this one

No the advanced dock takes the old Ultrabay adapters of the T61. So the T500 DVD will not work in the Advanced dock and a SATA hard disk will only work in a T61 Ultrabay adapter but that adapter will then not fit into the T500 Ultrabay.

The exception is the T500 Ultrabay second battery that was designed in such a way that it will fit both the T61 and the T500 Ultrabays.

We have been waiting for Lenovo to announce a new advanced dock for the T500 but it's very quiet on that subject.
