    Hello All,

    The Kit I have is:
    W500
    Advanced Mini Dock, 39T4590
    L2251x Monitor.

The problem that I have is the apparent incompatabilty between the DVI port on the docking station and the Displayport on the monitor.

I have used two different cables; 3M DP to DVI, and a convertor with a DVI cable. In both cases it appears that the monitor does not register the signal.

It does work if I go from the DP direct on the laptop to the monitor, but I do not want to be in a situation that I continually have to unplug the cable to take the laptop out of the cradle.

Any thoughts on this matter would be most appreciated.

    Thanks
