I just did a clean install on my machine (I've done tons of formats on previous computers and know what I'm doing).

Adobe CS3 will not work at all after installation. When I start any of the apps (even Acrobat Pro), it will freeze before the driver loading splash screen comes up...

Any clue on what I can look into? I'm about to wipe the drive again and just install using my other copy of Vista Ultimate 64... it's frustrating.

    Thank you

Don't clean up the disk-its rarely necessary.
Did you get the adobe from a clean source?

maybe your installing was unsuccessful? try reinstalling.

is it from a cd or is it a download? your cd or downloaded file might be damaged or corrupted.

This happens when the program is conflited with Windows.
I agree, try the clean install again.

It's a legit copy I purchased of CS3 Web Premium. I'd rather pay the high price now and know how much I'd pay than get sued later for using a pirated copy, hahaha.

    Anyhow...

I've tried multiple clean installations on the T500 already. I may have to reinstall w/ the bloatware to make it work =[ It worked fine before the clean up. I'll try another clean install this weekend when I have some spare time.

I know it's not a Vista issue because my desktop is running Vista x64 ultimate and running fine.

    Thanks for the tips everyone.
