    Can anyone point me to a good guide or video on how to add memory to my T400? I just got a 2G chip from Crucial for $28. So. I'm psyched. Thanks.

    The Hardware Maintenance Manual for the T400 will be your friend for this procedure. You can also check out the Service Training videos from Lenovo as well, I don't think they had videos for the T400 but the T61 should be the same since they share a similar chassis so you can use that as reference.

    The HMM is a godsend and once you work on a Thinkpad you'll appreciate the layout of it's components and see why it is revered so widely!
