    Add Bluetooth to T61

    I have the T61 described in my signature, and I didn't order the Bluetooth capability. Is there a way to buy the Bluetooth card now and put it in myself?

    Any links would be a great help.

    search Lenovo for the T61 maintenance manual, it will show you how to add the bluetooth card/antenna and how to dissassemble your computer/bezel. The bluetooth card on the T61's reside by the left hinge and you must run an antenna cable as well.

    You sure there is an antenna cable for it? Looks like you only need part 39T0497 and then just take off the bezel, plug in the card, and replace the bezel. I checked the T60 hardware manual and did not see a mention of the n need for an additional antenna.

    yes you are right on older thinkpads you had to run the antenna cable, as well as the X41's
