Has anyone used their Lenovo Thinkpad Protection Warranty? I have a client with a t60 that got dropped. I haven't seen the damage yet but I know that the sceen is cracked and the system doesn't power on. I was trying to figure out what the process is like before I call in. Does the damaged laptop get returned and evaluated or do they ship a replacement? The system is a couple of years old so any ideas of what the replacement would be? Any suggestions before I call?

My guess would be you'll need to send it in unless they've got on-site and they'll replace parts until it's fixed. I don't know, I've never had accidental.

I have heard with Accidental Warranty you have to mail in the laptop even if you have At-Home regular warranty. Not sure though.
