    Hey there,

I already checked some discussions about this issue. Unfortunately I could not find a solution other then uninstalling it:

Sometimes when I open the Access Connection Application by clicking on the tray icon it gives me 100% CPU and its slowly eating all the RAM. Only a service restart solved the issue. It seems to work very unstable. The thing is that there seem to be several components and I am not sure which one is doing what. For example when I stop the service the tray icon is still there. Also the wireless indicator is still there (makes sense since this is an OS component). However I dont know whats going on with this stuff and I dont like to unistall it because I am sure that all this ThinkVantage software is one reason for making Lenovos more expensive than others so I want to use what I paid for. Any idea?

    ldr -

I had the same problem and Arkit3kt was kind enough to post the same link for me.

Follow the instructions in the referenced post. Make sure to remove your profiles when prompted. I don't know if it made a difference, but I also removed the icon from the task bar as suggested in the last frame of the posting. The problem is now gone.

    Good luck,
    rb
