I am having a very long delay (15 minutes) on boot. Right after I enter the signon pw, I get a small message box with the heading "Access Connections" and the message "Connecting, please wait" and then it hangs for a while, then it goes to the window background with no icons or system bar. Then after a long while it finally finishes. I would like to just not use the Access connections at all, can that be disabled and just use Windows XP networking?

It should be able to - what kind of computer are you running?

Has the access connections always been installed/running?

I don't think you can easily disable AC. Personally I would just uninstall it if you aren't going to use it. If you find you need it in the future you can just download it from lenovo's site.

If you think you want to keep it though, I would download the latest version of AC as well as the driver to your wireless card.
