I recently updated my R60 laptop (running XP SP3) from Lenovo. My wired network connection no longer works. My wireless connection still works. I have tried older versions of AC, but no luck. Current version of AC is 5.12, have tried 5.02, 5.00, 4.52. One thing that is odd is that every time I go to update my system the updates it list switchs between "ThinkPad Wireless LAN (11abgn, abg, bg) (Windows XP)" and "ThinkPad Wireless LAN(11abg, bg) (Windows 2000/XP)".

P.S. I have also tried uninstalling AC and using Windows ipconfig. ipconfig doesn't recognize the wired connection.

I fixed the problem by downloading the latest driver from broadcom.com Their version is 10.85, whereas the one from Lenovo is 10.35.
