I changed the unicode support in Windows Vista to Chinese PRC so that some of my Chinese files will read correctly. However, this made Access Connections and other ThinkVantage programs to change into a Chinese interface. How can I change it back without changing the unicode setting in Windows?
This also happens when I install other software. For example, when I DLed the Eng version of Nero, the installation is in Chinese. The final product is in Eng however.

A possible solution is delete the language files associating with the programs.
For Access Connection, check here: "C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\ConnectUtilities\Res".
You can delete the directory "SC" (but back them up somewhere). The directory has files for Simplified Chinese (Chinese-PRC). Reboot and you should see Access Connection run in English.
(If for some reason, it comes up with Traditional Chinese instead, back up and remove the directory "TC"). -
I tried it, and it works.

Any idea on how to solve a similar problem, except that the nvidia utility is in Chinese instead of Access Connetions?
