Access Connections is KILLING my computer's performance. I don't understand how this program is so poorly coded. I have version 5.61 on my T400s. Every time I turn on my computer or recover it from sleep, it takes a good 5 minutes to "right" itself and get on the network. Basically the computer is useless until this program sorts itself out. Starting the program takes way too long, and it runs slower than molasses when it's running.

What are my options here? Can I uninstall this software and use something else?

Easiest way is to uninstall Access Connections and use the Windows 7 default networking management. I've only played around with Access Connections for a little bit, and as the extra features it offered were unnecessary for me, I don't use it.

Instead of uninstalling it, you may wish to just disable it, which has the same effect.
