So I got my T410s back from lenovo (they replaced the screen for due to that dead pixel)

So they replaced my wireless card and the access control is not working with it, maybe due to the new MAC address? Anyways I tried to update the lenovo software and that didn't work, I went ahead and delete the access controls (un installed) Is there a way to reinstall it now that I have removed it? I know it is somewhere on the computer still.

    Thanks in advance.

Always uninstall Access Connections first, then uninstall all your wireless driver software. Reboot then reinstall your wireless driver software, and lastly reinstall Access Connections.

You don't really need Access Connections. It is nice when it works, but sometimes it becomes a headache when it won't.

The only reason I am thinking of installing the access controls is for later on if we ever get a gobi put into my computer, some of our other thinkpads will use the gobi card along with wimax, and I think you have to have access controls to make that work ...

I don't think you need Access Connections to use the Gobi card. All you should need is the Windows drivers. There is a chance I'm wrong though.

I used to use Access Connections with my Sierra Wireless WWAN card, but I don't anymore.
