    As the title says I'm about to buy a U160 off the Lenovo Ireland site. Any reason I should go for a similary specced Thinkpad Edge instead? I prefer the look of the Ideapad.

    Without knowing anything about what you want or need, it's tough to add any insight. If it were my money, I'd go for the X201.

    I'm looking for something a bit better than the AMD Fusion platform performance-wise.

    Wasn't there a heat problem with the u160? And its battery life didn't really deliver either
