    I plan to buy a P53. I notice that I have the option to choose

    IR & 720p HD Camera with microphone

    However, I am not sure what I need "IR" for. I am a software programmer. I just wanted to ask folks here how it can be useful in life on a laptop and for what. Just facial recoginition? I want to know more about IR on laptops to make a right decision when actually ordering a P53.
