    Anyone have any opinion on the advance mini dock vs advance dock? I am thinking about picking one up and found pretty decent prices for both of them.

    the advance dock allows you to use PCIexpress video card in some instances for connecting up to 4 external screen simultaneously. It also has a ultrabay drive for extra hdd or optical device. Which is not possible in the mini dock.

    So if the price discrepancy is not large, i would get the advance dock.

    the price difference is large but both are really cheap. (56 for mini dock and 100~ for the advance) so i was going to get the advance one but there are not much review about it

    which thinkpad do you have? 100 dollars is not that much for so much added features that the advance dock brings.
