Hi, i am having an issue setting up a ad hoc connection so that I can get wifi on the ipod touch when i go back to school. The WLAN works when connecting to a wifi connection and the ethernet also works. I was wondering if anyone can help. I was trying to find an oem driver but cant. I have no idea what the model number is, so i decided to just take a pic and see if anyone can help.

    Thanks in advance

It would be helpful you to specify as much as possible to help people who help you. This includes you current hardware and software.

I got the T500 with the default b/g card and under device manager, it just says "11b/g Wireless LAN mini PCI Expresws Adapter III" made by atheros using driver version 7.6.1.237.

As for the Adhoc problem, ive tired the driver at lenovo's website, the driver provided by windows update, and the driver that came with it and none of them works. I called Lenovo support and they said since i can use wifi connection, the card is not defective and it is a networking issue. However, ive tried all the networking tricks and none of them works either (I am experience with setting ip ad hoc connections).

Now, I am wondering is there an OEM driver i can try or theres something else going on.

    Thanks in advance
