Just saw "new" Thinkpad card 41U4876

    Have anyone bought it yet?

As we known, Thinkpad a/b/g/n 42T0825 which uses first generation Atheros AR5008 XSPAN based on AR5418/AR5008
is very hot, for example, X60/61.

I just wonder if "new" a/b/g/n 41U4876 would come with the second generation XSPAN, Atheros AR9001, and might be "colder".

Oh geez so that card in particular runs hot? That's too bad.. I was just about to ask how it works in comparison to the Intel N network card. I heard the Atheros AG was superior to the Intel so I was hoping the XSPAN came as highly recommended.

Would like to know if the newer generation is cooler as well..
