My new T60 came with the 128K X1400, but when I check its properties it is showing 512K; is that simply the on-board memory and the "shared" memory from my 2 GB Ram showing up? Thanks, Cory

You mean it's 128mb and it shows 512 right? The X1400 has 128 dedicated MB and then has the potential to pull more from the ram (so it's a dedicated card with the ability to boost itself through sharing). BTW, MINE CAME!!!! I was going to do a really good photo story, but I got impatient, though I did take some snaps...for a later thread (I'm in the process of putting everything on the 7200rpm drive I bought to replace the 5400rpm drive, so all I've done so far is turned it on, made recovery CDs, swapped the hard drive, and now it's copying everything (still on my old laptop)...anyways, I've said too much for a thread not on this topic already. (ooo, and my ultrabay adapter that wasn't supposed to ship until the 29th shipped today!).

128 dedicated 384 shared and no, I know of no ways to prevent it from sharing.
