My T40 should arrive today and I am going to reformat the whole drive. I know IBM website provide the latest ATI driver for Radeon Mobility 7500. I am wondering if anyone use that or download the one from ATI website?

Go with the IBM download, then if anything goes wrong you can point the finger at them and they'll have to provide the tech support to help.

It seems ATI doesn't offer downloads for laptop chipsets anyway, unless I've looked in the wrong place. If I select mobile chipsets I get this:

you can always use modified drivers, if you are looking to use the latest Catalyst drivers. I am using version 4.4 of the ATI Catalyst drivers.

The omega version of the modified drivers claim to have support for the Fire GL T2 (128Mb) but the manufacturer IDs in the .INF file doesn't match. I modified this myself, and the drivers installed correctly.
