    Hi,

back then when I used Vista I liked the automatic graphics switching that the ATI driver provided on my T400. Means: When I unplugged the machine the integrated graphics was activated, when I plugged it in the dedicated adapter was selected.

It seems that there is no such functionality (yet?) for Win7, so I wrote a little application to do the job:

    Direct download: http://www.manuel-then.de/Downloads/GraphicsSwitcher.zip

Maybe its of use for some of you.
    Feedback appreciated :)

It seems to be working good. Is there any way to show which display adapter is being used? Thanks

I am glad to hear this. Thank you for testing it :)

Not yet, but this should be no problem. I will try to update the application today.

    Just uploaded an improved version.

    Changes:
    - When hovering over the tray icon it is displayed which graphics adapter has been activated
NOTE: Switches made through PowerManager are not detected (That's on my todo list for the next days).

    Download (same URL as before)

    Right for your machine :)

Machines I can think of: T400, T500, Wxxx with switchable graphics (untested).
