    For doing light work.

    I can get a used a21p PIII 850, 128mb ram, 30gb HD and a wicked 15" screen with multiple native resolutions (16*12 looks great). Ethernet is broken. 30 day warranty win98 - this is $882 w/tax

    A brand new x31, 1.3 PM, 256MB RAM, 20GB 4200rpm HDD, 12.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, Modem(CDC), 10/100 Ethernet(LOM), Intel 802.11b wireless(MPCI), 6 cell battery, WinXP Pro for $1400 + shipping.

    small and light is cool - but the pro system is nice and way cheaper.

    what do tou guys think?
