Hi everybody, I have a strange problem with my T400.

In my power scheme, I have already set my display brightness to 40%. However, whenever I wake my laptop up from stand by mode, the display brightness goes to 100% again, causing me to set it back to 40% manually.

I only experience this odd problem with stand by mode. When I start my computer or wake it up from hibernation, nothing wrong.

What should I do now to shake off this unwanted phenomenon?

    Thanks in advance!

P.S.: I use Windows XP SP3 and already installed enough drivers.

The ThinkPad resets to your selected power management setting when it wakes from standby. Change your settings in Lenovo Power Manager.

My problem is that it does not reset the display brightness to the settings I chose in Lenovo Power Manager. I chose 50% but whenever I wake my T400 up from stand by mode the display brightness goes back to 100%.
