    A very stupid mistake =/

    On the rush to buy a T61 I quickly put in my name on the billing/shipping address...stupidely forgetting that I was using my parents' credit card at the time...Supposedly I wasn't allowed to do that even though I had permission according to the Lenovo website.

    However I just called Lenovo and they said it was okay and that I didn't have to do anything...everything would be perfectly okay w/ no problems. So I guess it's okay to order with your parents' credit card and put your name on it?

    Would my T61 be delayed even if they okayed it?

    Did the same thing and everything worked out ok. CC was charged no problem, got the bill this morning.

    Don't worry. Companies are VERY VERY quick about telling you if the charges don't go though. Hehe.

    Thank you for the reassurance. Jaydm -- I see on a previous post of yours that your order was delayed due to circumstances outside UPS control? That wasn't b/c of the credit card problem was it?

    I think that was referring to U.S. Customs inspections.
