Just found this somewhere on the web. BTW, it is NOT mine.

There was a price error on lenovo.com happened on 01/08/08. Many took advantage of this error and placed orders. However 99.99% of their orders got canceled next day. Apparently, this guy/gal's order just unstoppable, it went through.

Unless his/her credit card has been already charged, I don't see how they can't stop this order?

Obviously, I don't really care about that. I just found the picture on web.
I guess whoever post it doesn't care, either. or the guy just really bold.

Its a picture posted on the web - how hard would it be to 'adjust' the price in Photoshop just to get people riled?? Ummm...I figure it would take me about 5 minutes.

remember over the summer they had a bunch of t61 on the website that were 'glitching' at ridiculously low prices...they canceled all the orders and offered like 10 percent off a next order or something. i don't think it's the same thing though or else we all would have heard about it...!

Well guys just to let you know things like this do happen. I knew a guy very well who ordered a $4500 HP NW8000 Workstatiion 4 years ago. The company only charged the guys AmEx 30 bucks which was the cost of 2nd day air shipping. In essence they sold him the laptop free. He placed the money into CDs where he has continued to collect interest on it since that time. Luck of the Irish was with him I guess.
