    Hi all,

I require some advice if that's ok. I'm a little new to this but here goes.

I bought this laptop for my son about a month ago, and yesterday I noticed it was distored.

    Newegg.com - Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p (59385820) Intel Core i7 4700MQ(2.40GHz) 16GB Memory 1TB + 8GB SSHD Hybrid Drive 15.6" Notebook Windows 8

This is the model, and here is the damage.

Im assuming its cracked internally so my question is where would i find an exact screen replacement?

I believe its matte, but when i looked a laptopscreen, there are tons of models and i cant tell which one to purchase. Is there a difference?

Sorry if I am sounding like a complete newbie, bit i really want to fix this for my son.

    Thanks!
