Hi. I am thinking of getting a new laptop and the T61P seems to suit my needs. I have researched a bit and now I have a few questions.
I live in Canada by the way.
-Is the customer service in Canada really that bad?
-Do I have to pay the 15% restock fee if I return a defect?
-Why does Lenovo even charge a restock fee? Lenovo is supposed to be known for their build quality, right? Most brands from what I know dont do this.
-Has anyone purchased a T61P recently in Canada? How was it?

    I appreciate any help, thanks.

Yes it's 15% if you return it, but they'll fix or replace defective units. They didn't charge a fee before, but I think some people may have abused it -- ie. buy 2 or 3 laptops and keep the best one while returning the rest.
