    Ok,

I am about to configure a T61, but there are a few things I'm hoping you guys can help me with....

    1) Under the option "System Expansion slots" it gives me 3 different choices:
#1-PC Card Slot & Express Card Slot
#2-PC Card Slot & Media Card Slot
#3-PC Card Slot & Smart Card Slot

Is there any way I can mix and match slots? I really want an Express Card slot and a Media Card slot.

    2) There has been some talk about the subpar battery time. I have no problem upgrading to a 6 or 7 cell battery (although this might not be necessary since I will be using integrated graphics), but I really don't want something that will stick out like a sore thumb on the laptop. By chance, does anyone have a picture of what the extended battery might look like on the T61?

    3) To upgrade to integrated [WWAN] its cost is stated as [$0.00]. Yet, for some reason when I make the upgrade, the total cost of my configuration increases by $150. Anyone else have this problem?

Aside from the few aforementioned small things, the reviews have been pretty good regarding the T61. However, I am a little worried about some of negative comments that I've seen so far on the forum. There are a few people that recommend buying the older T60p instead. Would this be the better move to make? Or do you think I should stick with the T61?

From what others have told me you can, just not right now. More options will be made available in a month or two (e.g. webcam).
Only if you want the fastest discrete graphics available in the T series, which you don't. If you want a 15" notebook now, then maybe, but if you wait a month, two at most, I'm guessing the T61 with 15" screen of some kind will be out.
