These questions come from reading post over the last few weeks that have left me with no real conclusion:
1) What are the general thoughts of Intel's 1gb turbo memory, if it comes with a system should I take it out?
2) Does the Intel 4965AGN wifi card have any issues I should be worried about on a T61p or is this only with the T60?
3) I will need a usb hub, however because of past events, I am a bit worried about frying my ports. I am led to believe that I fried one port back into 1.0 speed. Question, even if I get a powered usb hub, is there a safe limit I should put on one port?
I'm thinking my biggest load will come from, my thrustmaster cougar, rudder pedals and a web cam to run free track. If I have that configuration going on the powered hub, would it be safe to have an external desktop harddrive on one of the regular usb ports without fear of taxing the system?
4) What gaming I will do on my tp will be limited to bf2 and flight sims, question, should my first upgrade be getting 4gb of ram? I am lead to think that there is an effective limit of ram you can install that once hit .... it does no good to upgrade.
Thank you for your time,
