This is most likely the laptop I'm going to buy, as it is only $890, but I have a few questions.

How's the battery life when you switch to integrated graphics?

    How's the heat/fan when gaming?

    Thanks.

I dont have a Y510P with single 750m, but i do have a Y410P with single 750m, should be kind of the same thing.

    1. The screen is very bright, dimming it down to half will greatly improve battery. Also, power-saver mode will underclock the CPU to 1.6ghz. With that said, i have managed to get over four hours at mid brightness with power-saver mode, doing some light browsing and word processing. I dont recommend gaming on the battery.

    2. The keyboard and underside of the laptop can get warm, but never overly hot. The main place where the laptop will be hot is the side vent, which is the main cooling for both the CPU and the Nvidia GPU. This will blow hot air in the left direction while gaming.
