    90w or 65w for Thinkpad W500?

    I bought two thinkpad W500 from the same seller, it came with two adapters, one 65w and one 90w, which in the correct one?

    I beleive that the 90w is the stock charger but the 65w should work fine depending on the load of the laptop.

    That machine has switchable graphics and should not be used with 65W adapter unless once has no other choice at the moment.

    Can X200T use the 90w? , so that I don't have to carry two adapters around.

    The main difference is that the 65w adapter will take longer to charge the battery and gets a lot hotter than the 90w adapter on my T500 with discrete graphics (99% identical to the W500). I recommend the 90w adapter for all uses if you can. It is only slightly bigger than the 65w adapter, runs cooler, charges the battery faster, and works flawlessly on any Thinkpad that takes the big yellow and gray plug.
