It's a misprint. Unfortunately, the Lenovo outlet is full of them.

I assure you the T9600 has a 1066MHz FSB and 6MB L2 cache (same as T9400, just 270 MHz faster).

Check this list of Intel Core 2 Microprocessors.

Between those two, I think the model with the T9600 is a far better deal (WXGA+ display, faster CPU) unless you really want Blu-Ray.

Yep, it's a typo. All the Montevina processors have a 1066MHz FSB.

If you need Blu-Ray burning capability, the first one is an amazing deal (a Blu-Ray burner drive will cost you ~$500 as a non-outlet upgrade), however, if not, the second one is a far better deal.

I noticed that the part number listed on the outlet product page has the serial in it. Do you think it's a safe bet that the refurbs still have the parts in them listed on the partslookup website? One that I found has the LG LED display and a french canadian keyboard, for instance.

Part Number: 276L3B2926 (the first link)
Is the type: 2764 serial: L3B2926

I generally would trust the serial number and parts lookup page more than the specs listed on the Lenovo outlet. However, with refurbs this could get a little dicey.

If you are in doubt, just call Lenovo sales and have them verify the specs for you (it's the only way to be sure).
