I'm probably going to buy a t43 in the next couple days and i'm wondering what the difference is between the 6 cell and 9 cell battery--obviously i know there's a capacity difference, but is the 9 cell battery physically larger (ie does it protrude beyond the edge of the computer)? And does it weigh much more (i can't imagine that it does)?
Thanks

I have the nine cell on my T42. It weighs a little more, hardly noticable, and sticks out 3/4 of inch from the back. It doesn't bother me at all. I'd rather have the extra battery life.
I was robbed by a sweet little old lady on a motorized cart and I didn't even see it coming.

I have both batteries. I bought the 9 cell for longer airline trips. The 6 cell lasts 2.5 hours and the 9 cell lasts 4.5. Yes the 9 cell protrudes a little and is a bit heavier (not a problem). Bought the 9 cell at newegg.
