Give me a 400nit option on the T400 or T500, ideally with good viewing angles (memories of flexview), and I'm buying regardless of price.

I'm sure it's not, but his request reflects a desire a lot of us have - to have quality LCD screens available again on non-W notebooks.

The W700 series is now available for the U.S. I'm wondering about the screen, too. I have one of the BOE-Hydis 15" AFFS (Super IPS) Flexview panels, so I'm obviously biased.

Does this 400 NIT and the contrast ration, and overall quality (good on the eyes for example?) come close to the IPS goodness?? So is it "only" much brighter, or is the quality of the picture also better?
