I'm trying to order my T400, and the 4GB of RAM option magically disappeared?? Did Lenovo take it out? Cause I swear an hour ago it was still there.

I wouldn't worry about it. You can buy RAM for cheap at NewEgg and other retailers. Just order with 1GB.

Lenovo seems to be going back and forth. Initially you could only get the 4GB with an x64 OS, then they allowed you to get the 4GB with any OS—now the x64 requirement is back. I’m not sure what they’re thinking.

if you pick 64bit you'll get 4gb .. just pick single dim and order another 2gb dim (i just ordered it from lenovo).

I checked on Canadian's epp site

I can still see it on the Canadian site, not sure if the American site is different.
