What do you use the Tablet for? It was recommended that I get a tablet for school, but I doubt that I will use the tablet feature enough to validte its putchase.

I doubt the general public would even need the tablet function, but nonetheless it would still be cool to have. Too expensive for my taste though. I just ordered my x61 yesterday from the BUy dot com store on ebay. With no taxes, free shipping, reduced price and ebay bucks back I couldn't resist it.
For reference mine was $1310.99 + $65.66 ebay bucks back
2.1 Ghz
100GB 7200 RPM
Bluetooth 2.0
Intel WiFi
X6 Ultrabase with DVD Dual Layer Writer
8 Cell battery
Fingerprint Reader
1GB RAM
Win XP OS
The biggest factor came out to be taxes, shipping dates (1-2 days) and package contents. If I didn't get the ultrabase it probably wouldn't have fit my requirements. -
I just dished out 30 bucks for a usb enclosure, and then moved a dvd writer from my desktop
35% off listed price on X61, Good Buy?
