This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    3000 family gone?

    I can't find the 3000 notebooks on the Lenovo website anywhere. I'm sure I'm being stupid or something and this is a probably a stupid question, but where are they?

    Looks like they're gone. I don't know if it's much of a loss. The ThinkPad line offers better quality with much the same pricing. The only reason to get one was the glossy screen. I think they should offer those on the R series. I think some people would prefer the option. I got to write the review for the N100 a few years ago. I liked the glossy WSXGA+ screen on it. Be nice if they offered it on the R61 which is supposed to be the more media friendly ThinkPad anyway.
