Hi,
I've had my Lenovo 3000 N200 with Vista Ultimate for about 2 months now and overall I'm very satisfied. However, there is one little thing which really keeps annoying me and I don't know how to solve it. I have the Realtek High Definition sound drivers installed and the Realtek module appears in the Control Panel and also on the tray icons list. However, every time I come out of the sleep mode and want to plug in a microphone or speaker system, the digital switching system kinda like crashes and when I try to run the Realtek software, it hangs. The only solution is to close it via Task Manager and if I then restart the Realtek program, everything works perfectly. But I'm sure this thing has to have some kind of other solution and it's not meant to be like this. The second issue - is it really supposed to be so that the only volume control available via all the buttons on the notebook is directly via the Windows sound control? The problem I'm having with this is that when I run some game in the full screen mode, changing of the volume brings up the little volume bar above the clock and it then starts switching between full screen and windowed mode which is really disturbing.
Please someone help me out, really appreciate it! Thanks.
