On a few of my other posts, someone mentioned a 3 year warranty that is automatically included for the education orders (not ordering my through a school just selected "Student/Alumni" under Education Employee Purchase Program then Students for program). Anyone have information on this?

This is what I dug up off Lenovo's site: http://www-306.ibm.com/common/ssi/f...=897/ENUS106-868&appname=lenovous&language=en If link doesn't work just type in "Education warranty" in their search. Basically it seems that the extended warranty is only INCLUDED on models that are purchased through some sort of bidding process. This is why the basic warranty is only listed when you order through the website.

I think this is by choosing your state from the list on the left and then clicking thinkpads on your own state porthole.
I did see the build come standard with the 3 year warranty. However...I was unable to customize a T61 there, only T60 (and other earlier models)
3 year warranty for educational orders...not seeing it anywhere on my order or Lenovo's site???
