The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     3 year warranty for educational orders...not seeing it anywhere on my order or Lenovo's site???

    On a few of my other posts, someone mentioned a 3 year warranty that is automatically included for the education orders (not ordering my through a school just selected "Student/Alumni" under Education Employee Purchase Program then Students for program). Anyone have information on this?

    mines does not show up either on their website when i look up my computer information. it seems as if my computer is nonexistent! they don't have a record of the serial either. i'm going to call them and find out soon.

    I think this is by choosing your state from the list on the left and then clicking thinkpads on your own state porthole.

    I did see the build come standard with the 3 year warranty. However...I was unable to customize a T61 there, only T60 (and other earlier models)
