I've been running Windows 7 on the T43 in my sig for months now. I resintalled the newest ATI drivers for the X300 which is a general distribution, including CCC, version "8.561.0.0". I've done the usual process for this, swept the old drivers via CCleaner, reboot, installed new drivers which were Windows 7 compatible, and reboot again. I noticed when i installed them a couple months ago that there are always 3 running instances of said process. I know that this has got to be hampering performance, i play GTA SA still and in Windows 7 i get although not gameplay destroying stuttering but FPS slow down in the same pattern all the time, within 2 second intervals slow to below 10 then jump back up to 25-40. I know it is not a settings issue since i play it on my XP Pro partition on same settings without this problem, i cannot end any of the said processes so trying to eliminate all but 1 of these processes is impossible.
