Anyone having problems with their (new) thinkpads trackpad? The mouse freezes pretty often and 2 finger scrolling also works when it wants to. I'm running Windows 7 Home Prem and did not make any changes to the OS that came loaded from the factory. I did update the ultranav driver to 15.2.20.

I tried uninstalling the ultranav driver, restarting, and installing again but it still freezes on screen almost all the time. Anyone know what I'm talking about, how can I fix it? I'm about to wipe the OS and install W7 Pro from scratch and update everything but that will take a lot of time and I really dont want to if I dont have to! I did disable gesture filtering and edge tap filtering. That seemed to only help a bit

Nevermind. Didn't read your initial post carefully.

Can someone comment whether the trackpad freezes and scrolling is affected or if this is just a prob with mine?

I don't know if this is the same problem that you are having, but I am sending an x120e back to Lenovo for repairs due to a defective UltraNav. The trackpad and Trackpoint usually didn't work on startup, and putting the computer to sleep and waking it up would always disable them (and Fn-F8 would tell me that the Ultranav driver was not installed).
