I didn't see any announcements for the T or W-series lines during CES this year (aside from the T430u), and with the next-gen Ivy Bridge processors and Windows 8 coming out, I was wondering if there have been any announcements, leaks or rumors about Lenovo's plans.

I'm probably gonna get a W-series laptop in the next few months, but if there are some major upgrades coming down the pike, I'll do what I can to wait. Any ideas?

Thanks, and if I've overlooked a thread already discussing this, just point me in that direction.

Me too, but as you'll see in my sig, I'm rapidly maxing out on the useful lifetime of my rig. It just can't keep up as well any more...

    xp and 2011... good luck...

no superfetch, no ssd support (trim etc), no instant resume etc etc... and NO security.

everyone can find a free w7 key (msdna, upgrade etc).

Although I am also looking at a second ThinkPad laptop for my wife, I would also be interested in a Win 8 refresh of the ThinkPad tablet. The combination of a stylus and a workable keyboard folio is appealing to me when I go on vacation and leave the laptop at home.
