    If I buy a T60 from lenovo with 1G Memory,will it come here as one 1G slot or two 512M slots? Thanks!

    Likely 2 512s unless otherwise specified. 1GB on one chip is much more expensive.

    If you're buying a preconfigured, chec, the tabook in the sticky of this forum around page 40-45. It won't be listed in the table, but I think it's down around the specs. Most do seem to ship with a 1GB stick, and that's the first option when you're customizing.

    True, I believe Lenovo might just stick a 1GB in there instead of two 512MBs as it could possible keeps Lenovo's quantity of 512's high as most Thinkpads have 512MB in them. (Then this might bring the argument of 2x 256s vs 1x 512MB :( ) It is best to check.
