So..I've been reading through a lot of old threads lately, and it seems that back in april-jun, samsung produced a bad 'batch' of screens...and due to this...samsungs name has been brought down...

Does anyone know if this has changed recently? Have they improved their products? I'm asking anyone that got their 15.4 inch samsung screens Aug+

    Thanks

Where did you get the idea that it was a bad batch and not simply the nature of the screens?

Well, people generally did complain about samsung screens overall...but I forgot where I read it...but they said there was supposedly a bad batch taht had something to do with the way they applied the anti-glare coating

Improperly applied anti-glare coating causes sparkle which is currently staring me in the face on my non-Thinkpad. I think a thread about this is a little unnecessary. I know you probably have worries about your laptop, but just chill out and wait for it to arrive then you wont need to worry about what people on here say about it. If no one on here is already talking about it, it's unlikely that anyone will post any relevant comments about it.
